Preventing Duplicate Leads

At CraftJack, each phone number field can be a unique number or the same. CraftJack identifies each of our contractors using their Account Phone Number. When we provide a lead to another lead generation company, our systems “talk” to each other to prevent the lead from going to a contractor in their network that we also have in ours. 

For example, if you’re signed up with Company A as well as CraftJack, we’ll use your Account Phone Number listed to make sure you don’t receive the same lead twice from different companies. 

It’s important to note that the other phone number fields in Lead Manager do not impact the lead matching process and will not prevent duplicate leads. Your Account Phone Number and phone numbers used on your profile page (customer-facing) do not have to be the same. However, if you work with multiple lead generation companies, it’s important that your CraftJack Account Phone Number is the same one you’ve used to set up your accounts with all other lead generation companies. What if I can’t provide you with a consistent phone number to use across all lead generation companies?

It is the contractor’s responsibility to then communicate with other companies their CraftJack Account Phone Number. Some companies will be able to add multiple numbers to identify your account and guard against duplicates. CraftJack only has the ability to list one Account Phone Number that is used to prevent duplicate leads.
