What if I get a duplicate lead?
Here at CraftJack, we take numerous steps to ensure the quality of our leads. Our goal is always to send pros quality leads in real-time. However, on the rare occasion you receive a lead from CraftJack that you’ve also received from another lead generation company as well, please contact your account manager immediately to receive a credit. Please send us a screenshot of the lead information with a timestamp to assist in applying the credit.
We do ask that if you are working with other lead generation services, that your same Account Phone Number is shared between all companies. This can help prevent future duplicate lead issues. How Are Leads Duplicated?
Here at CraftJack, we never recycle our leads. We use a combination of network partnerships as well as sourcing our own leads to connect you with qualified homeowners in your area. However, there are two scenarios in which you can receive a duplicate lead.
1. It’s A Duplicate Homeowner Submission
A homeowner may visit multiple home improvement resources and submit a request to bid for their project on each site. If a contractor belongs to more than one lead generation network, a duplicate lead may occur. Unfortunately, these duplicates are difficult to prevent.
2. It’s A Shared Lead
When CraftJack receives an inquiry from a homeowner for services, we formulate that information into a lead and share it with up to four contractors. We do this because homeowners like to receive bids from multiple contractors before making a choice.
If CraftJack does not have four contractors in our network to bid on the homeowner’s project, we will reach out to our trusted lead generation partner companies to see if they have a contractor working in that zip code and service category. Still, the lead is only shared with a maximum of four contractors.

We know that contractors in our network work with more than one lead generation company. When we share a lead with another lead generation company, we identify which contractors in our network have already received that lead. CraftJack uses your Account Phone Number to identify contractors, which is why it’s so important to make sure you have the same number listed across all companies.
