Background Check Information

CraftJack uses a third-party vendor Checkr to check a national criminal database (”NCD”) to screen all of our service professionals. Why? Just like licensing, screening, and certification, a background check is proof to homeowners that you are legitimate, trustworthy, and worth hiring. Are background checks free?

Yes, we provide background checks free of charge to CraftJack pros.

How long should I expect the process to take?

For most customers, they should expect their results via Checkr to be returned within 48 hours. However, since each background check is unique, the process could take up to 7 days depending on state and county regulations. To see if your county is currently experiencing delays, click here.

I have a problem with my background check, how do I fix this?

We understand that an error in your results or not passing a background check can cause frustration. Unfortunately, CraftJack’s Account Managers cannot discuss this with you due to your privacy.
