Questions about your Service Area
What is a Service Area?
Your service area is both the designated boundary and the services you provide within that area. The boundary can be larger or smaller based on the distance you’re willing to travel. For example, if you live in a more rural area, you may have several communities where you accept new customers from. However, in a big city, like Los Angeles, you may only prefer to go to specific neighborhoods.
Service Area Tips
- Expand your service area if you are looking for more leads. Try adding just one city to start and see if leads pick up. This allows us to connect you with more homeowners that need a contractor with your expertise. You can adjust your service area at any time, so find what works best for you.
- Set up multiple service areas for smaller and larger projects. You may want to travel shorter distances for smaller projects, but going farther for a larger project can have a bigger return on investment (ROI).
What happens if I get a lead outside of my service area?
We encourage all of our service providers to log into their CraftJack Lead Manager and make adjustments to their accounts. This ensures it’s set up to your own specifications without confusion about service types or service areas. You will only receive leads from the zip codes you requested, and we, therefore, do not credit for those leads. Please contact customer service with any questions regarding your service types or service areas.
What’s unique about CraftJack’s service areas?
Here at CraftJack, our contractors have full control to set their service areas and change them when they’d like. We base our service area distance on how far you’re willing to travel within a certain radius, so we advise our pros to pick the cities they prefer to work in. Additionally, you can change your service area per service you provide.
